Our menu print design team combines creativity, efficiency, and attention to detail to bring your ideas to life. Whether you need a simple upgrade to your existing menu or a completely fresh design for your restaurant, we’ll work closely with you to understand your vision. From there, we’ll present a variety of creative concepts tailored to your style, ensuring you have options that truly reflect your brand.

Fees based on the following being provided:

  • The entire menu typeset and submitted in an email or a saved file. If your menu has to be typeset by us, there is an additional fee. The client must provide a clear scanned copy or a good quality snapshot that is clear and legible to reference for typesetting.

  • A high resolution logo file. Important - a screenshot or download from the internet is typically a low resolution file and is not acceptable. For printing, high resolution is required. You will incur an additional fee (see below) if our design team has to recreate or tweak your logo file to make it fit for printing.

  • Approximately 5-6 photos of the food/drink you’d like to have on your menu. Files must be high resolution and be clearly labeled by category (ie; Appetizers, Entrées, etc. as well as the name of the item as it appears on your menu). Stock food photos are available for an additional fee (see below).

  • The desired design concept must be clearly communicated if a specific “look” is required. Reference to the client’s website, existing menu or an image or other menu on the internet can be helpful in communicating desired design. Additionally, colors and other specific information should be shared so that the design team has an idea of the client’s expectations.

  • If client submits pre-existing menu files, they must be “source” or “working” files that are editable using their native software application such as Adobe Illustrator or InDesign. In order to submit a PDF file, the file must be saved as PRESS QUALITY file with the PRESERVE EDITING CAPABILITIES mode applied.

File types accepted:

  • Preferred: PDF saved from source file (press optimized, with preserve editing selected in CYMK, mode with fonts embedded and no printer’s marks)

  • AI source file plus all fonts and linked files embedded.

  • INDD source file plus all fonts and linked files embedded.

ALL FILES MUST INCLUDE A BLEED

Additional Fees:

  • Typesetting depends on content but will average an additional $65-$95 per menu

  • Logo recreation depends on exact nature of logo design but will average an additional $65-$195 per logo

  • Stock photos are $20 each. If your own photos need to be tweaked/adjusted - $15 each unless the required adjustments are extreme and require a lot of time.

  • Pre-existing files may be subject to additional fees if they don’t meet the required criteria outlined above.
